Excitement for the Hermit Recluse
Wow...I always wondered how that fire alarm would sound. I have never lived in a bldg where the bedrooms are wired with alarms in case there is a fire anywhere in the bldg. They are LOUD. Shrill and loud. Very effective.
I immediately went and got dressed b/c there was no way I was getting stranded outdoors in a bathrobe for any length of time. Got dressed, grabbed my bag and then emptied my other bag to jam the cat into...I knew she wouldn't mind b/c she has always liked being carried around in bags...and her only other trip outdoors (to the vet after her suicide jump off the balcony in the old apartment) she was in a backpack and loved it...she was so friggin cute in that bag last night...popping her head out to look around. I sat with the ppl in 323 that had 2 cats in a cat carrier...we are automatic BFFs now.
20 mins later we were waved back inside by the fire dept...some jackass pulled it I guess...asshole. The only ppl outside were ppl with cats, dogs and children...even if I thought there was no real danger I am not risking being FINED for not leaving the bldg like the move in info says. That would piss me off worse than going for a late night stroll.
Yeah - so that was my weekend excitement....sad state of affairs I would say. Tonight The Walking Dead is back on so Catherine from work is coming over to watch with me....should be thoroughly traumatizing...friggin show stresses me out but I am all captivated by the characters and storyline now so there is no going back!
My neck is gibbled...so I am trying these heavy duty anti-inflammatory pills to see it it will stop it from going full blown seized...I was hoping that swim last night would have worked it out but no such luck.
Canadian Thanksgiving - woot woot. I might be bothered to make myself a chicken breast and stuffing
with yams tomorrow night...or I might have tomato soup.

She is so friggin cute it slays me. Glad she left the crazy roommate situation and is now in a new place, saving money and living drama-free....FOR NOW anyway.
RANDOM MUSING: I am going to start trying out something....removing all negative recordings in my head....1st starting with removing this horrid and proud image on my sidebar....gotta start retraining my brain.
