Anyway...I have just finished purchasing every Noah Gundersen album I could get my hands on...I spent all of Friday at work listening to it all on shuffle...
There is a distinct flavor of Christianity that is detectable by my atheist heart. I am not holding that against him...sometimes it translates into beautiful nuance and mysterious musing...sometimes it is too overt and click NEXT. Don't get me wrong, its not Christian music or anything hideous like that...its just a smattering of it interwoven, it is clearly part of who he is...that's okay. I am not sure a regular person would notice it all that much...but you know me...
Special message of the day: PETA SUCKS. They really do a massive disservice to themselves. I liken their ideology to extreme religious kooks, like Christians who murder abortion doctors, Muslim's who blow up people, etc. All's fair so long as you are pushing forth your word and message to the masses right? Fuck you guys and your god. It seems it is the extreme folk of our world making the biggest messes and heartbreak. So greedy you sacrifice mother earth to make a few more dollars you do not even need, so cloaked in religious delusion you murder and maim while completely missing the point of your religion in the biggest way, so selfish and blind to others pain you perpetuate abuse and darkness. Fuck all you people. For real. So sick of this world and the media serving up these horrors as dictated by the {insert your opinion here} to spread fear and hysteria while keeping everyone numb to what they should be worked up about. Gotta stop reading the news for a while...me knowing about this shit does not change the people doing it.
Oh right, I was talking about PETA...I saw an ad of theirs with a mutilated sheep making reference to that being the price so you can have a wool sweater...sensationalist bullshit...I know a lot of sheep and they do not look like that after shearing...nice try dill-holes. Too bad some people eat that shit up and send those kooks money.
On a lighter note (no idea how I got all serious there) - it is time I got cleaning my house...and forcing myself to not go watch the Outlander reruns I have recorded on my PVR. I am starting to feel like a lecherous pervert.
