Remember when I said CHANGE IS GOOD DONKEY?

Miss A/Sprog
Well....the sprog is now home after a Mother's Day trickery finale. The little beast snuck home with the aide of our cousin Maggie and I got the biggest surprise ever in the lobby of the River Rock Casino.

If you know me at all you know I EFFING hate surprises....hate hate hate....and while I would have preferred to know she was coming home since xmas when this scheme began (for reasons of mental sanity and preparedness) I can hardly get mad at the little a-holes when I am so relieved by the outcome.

So yes it was a massive surprise to have the sprog with us at our casino/April Wine concert weekend.
Right after the splat hahaha

It was a little weird at 1st...I couldn't stop staring at her, making sure it was really her haha Had a few good laughs at the casino....the main one being Aunty Pam having a massive wipe out while trying to stick her
Aunty Pam the Grey/Gandalf the Grey
head into this hole cut out photo stand....she thought it was a bit more sturdier than it was. Right before this photo was taken she fell on top of it and hit the ground in a very dramatic fashion - her very long gray hair flying everywhere...Miss A/Sprog said it looked like Gandalf hit the floor....so the Gandalf handle has stuck....
I still laugh when I think about it.

Other highlights: April Wine were great...pretty nice to see a guy in his 70's, drinking apple juice on stage to regulate his blood sugar, still kicking butt.

The week in Powell River was good...saw Jerri & Zed...and Mike & Jordyn...bought a piece of art I am super eager to get home (too big for the car!)

Adam Cramb
Adam Cramb - Jr High - Powell River BC
Turns out the artist is someone I recognize as an old school mate - Adam Cramb...He was a year behind me and I don't recall being friends but I knew when I heard the artists name from the art store lady that he was the kid I went to school with - even had his face in my head which is weird.
Anyway, he does a lot of stuff I really like, painting, photography, etc so I am anxious to give a home to this multi-media piece.

Seeing family in PR was good too...the kids are all growing up so fast...with Maggie expecting another baby in Oct (my birthday due date!) that should be it I would imagine.
Been crazy since getting back - leaving out the mom visit part as I am still processing...I am officially sick now after it taking a few weeks to really take hold which sucks balls b/c I am too tired to full accommodate a sickness right now haha With Miss A home, 2 women sharing a bathroom (JFC!) and neurotic me sharing a kitchen with someone far less germaphobic...its been INTERESTING...I am trying to just let shit roll though...Oh I am also PMSing. hahahaha
Found this online....can't wait!
