Ceiling Rat Vol. 2
The Rat Chronicles continue....I named this post in a non-plural manner for reasons of personal sanity. On Tuesday they are coming to cut a hole in the ceiling and will put traps up there and seal the ceiling off until it is time for trap retrieval. I look fwd to being awoken to the sound of a SNAP! in the night...no lie. I find rodents quite cute generally but GTFO of my abode you little rat bastards!
Now that it is being dealt with, so long as none breach the perimeter again I am fine to stay here. If i EVER see one rat turd anywhere though I am out of here faster than fuck. No bullshit.
It is federal election time...I am so stressed about this election I have had to consciously TURN.IT.OFF. in my head. I do not know wtf I am going to do if the Cons win again...esp if it is a majority gov't...seriously - I cannot imagine that happening but you just cannot know for sure. I was blown away that Christie the Clown Clark won provincially last election...seriously...? Who is voting for these dumb ass motherfuckers?
It astounds me when I hear ppl talk about still voting Conservative...after all the things Harper has done and intends to do to this country. I am actually embarrassed to be Canadian right now with the way he is shitting all over my country's ethics and values...his underhanded dealings and tactics...why couldn't people see that the niqab issue was not about the niqab at all or about women's issues even...? He took an issue and made it into something else entirely just pit ppl against each other and garner votes. Harper does not give 1 shit about the treatment of women in niqabs or any other woman CLEARLY or he would not be telling them how they should dress. Fuck you Harper. I look forward to the moment when he goes down for the count. Please mother of the universe and all that is holy like pizza and mashed potatoes - make it be on Monday!!!
My eye is twitching now...that is how pissed off that clown makes me if I even venture into a mild conversation about this election.
My sister moves next week into a cute, new little apt downtown in Fan Tan Alley...luckyyyy!!! It looks like it'll be a sweet little spot, much better than the Fairfield epic journey suite she was in. Some day when I do not need a 2 bedroom apt I am blowing my wad to live in a really nice 1 bedroom somewhere...ohhh yeah.........no rats....new and pretty!

I am not a fan of Shania Twain's music AT ALL but I like her persona and since I did not get to see her in Vegas when blowing money on stupid shit is ok I thought I would do it anyway since she was coming to my town...230.00...lets hope it is a good show or I am the biggest shithead alive.
MG at any time live is a good thing and he is playing the Alix Goolden Hall which is a small venue for him but it is going to be trippy to see him there....stoked!
Jake the Snake...how could I not go? It is a 5 min walk from my house and it is just going to be BIZARRE!
Vinyl Cafe...always a nice, wholesome event that I enjoy.
After the last horrible experience that was the Queen Tribute show (we left half way through b/c it sucked balls) I am scared to get excited about this...but I don't think it'll be terrible b/c I do not have the same feelings twds the old Rat Packers as I do twds Freddie Mercury so...
