October....has arrived...
I love October. Not just b/c it is MY birthday month, I just like it...summer is officially dead by October and the cool weather and falling leaves is such a damn relief every year.
What I would not give to have a dead squirrel lamp!!!
Every day I walk out into the parking lot and think this is a person...ha ha ha love this zombie guy.
Finally put up my new Adam Cramb original...Looks good on the hall wall...Miss A. hates it, says all my art purchases embarrass her - they are all so creepy....and that's why she never invites ppl over. LIKE THAT HURTS MY FEELINGS. ha. This from the kid who as a preteen and teen who would remove any art from the walls she found gross if she had friends over when I was not home...I would sometimes come home and stuff would be off the walls behind the couch, turned around. One was a Gustav Klimt print b/c it pictured a titty. Not even kidding. Mostly it was the weird Jesus prints which I kind of get but at the same time am a bit miffed she never did understand the humor in an atheist household having Jesus prints on the wall with Santa hats stuck on Jesus' head.
So much glass downtown to catch these cool shots...this is me standing waiting for a ride outside of work, the Sussex Bldg reflecting.
Very good birthday today...got a surprise Edible Arrangement from Maggie and the Boys...the cat was in love with the balloon, so it was a 2 in 1 gift really, kept the cat occupied.
Pretty much got up, vacuumed and then made fish & chips for breakfast/lunch and then hit Netflix...loafed til about 3 then started to clean up some and get ready to go out to a movie with friends...saw Sicario and man, it was great. I am a bit bias b/c I love Benicio del Toro but still, great great movie. Cinematography was excellent. Was not what I expected at all but really loved it.

I could have drawn this, it is so accurate to how I feel every day after work.
AND LOOK WHO FINALLY ARRIVED!
Baby Ezrey is finally here...and he was big, 9 and a half lbs of cuteness. Good job Maggie - Sidney and Riley seem to love him a lot already. 3 boys in one house....good lord Maggie! hahhahaa
This gem is just for fun....
Pink overkill.
My mother was certain responsible for this outfit and hairdoo.
Ahhh the 70's...a few years later dress up sessions like this ended up in violence and crying.
My mom never did master the "pick your battles" concept of parenting.
Everything was a power struggle, haircuts, the pants I wore...as a parent I am still puzzled why someone would bother to have a blow out with a kid over pants.
I learned fairly early raising Miss A that some shit just does not matter so why fight about it. Gawd knows there was enough to legitimately fight about ha!
My mother is consistent at least, to this day the things that always bothered her when I was a kid she still makes mention of in other ppls kids and mine.
