COVID Life - Day 84759837459384758934
At first I was cool with it...so many of the things people don't like about it - I love....like the no crowds, the empty buses, working from home...turns out I am not a fan of working from home in my current home because....the ppl above us are also home 24-7 HAHAHAHA Annoying!! They also have a different level of awareness about this COVID thing...ie: they have visitors still. I was content to silently judge them until one of the said visitors was seen sprawled out on my picnic table in the backyard. Gloves off....I may have had a COVID Induced Snappadoodle about that...which then escalated into a backyard showdown where my "abused 70's kid" erupted, showing no real mercy. Needless to say...friends off with the fuckfaces upstairs.
I decided life was too short - I have the means - so why stay here? The noise level is never going to go away so...I shall go away instead...tiptoeing through the tulips (that the deer ate) to a more suitable place - no clydesdales walking overhead, no lifestyle clashes, etc.
So I am on the hunt and waiting to hear about a place nearby that ticks most boxes...big, bright, balcony, pool, hot tub, sauna, gym, great location....only downgrades are it will mean back to the paid laundy shuffle (wah) and the bathroom is not as fancy and grand as the one we have currently. I can live with that. I will miss having a yard and garden....assuming we get it...which I should not do b/c, you know...life.
Connie made it back from Mexico in one piece with the family...Picture this: your best friend is away in Mexico with her family when all this COVID crap starts to really unfold in a serious way...you email her MANY times...as does her other friend...trying to make contact...nothing. CRICKETS. Finally on the day they are due home you hear from her...apparently they were in the total dark and in a weird twist of fate - they messed up their flight day home and missed it on the Friday. This is at the time the Prime Minister was telling ppl to COME HOME NOW before they would not be able to come home at all. F.a.c.k. They got rebooked and came home on the Sunday thankfully and were in quarantine for a couple weeks and are all good but....jfc that was stressful. That girl really knows how to tune out on vacation.
So many people without work right now...I feel so lucky. I miss going to work too, that has been a massive surprise to me...I love going to work now b/c no one is there HAHA
All my shows that were canceled are trying to rebook but I hope they all just give it up for the year b/c I dunno if I even feel like going to a crowded place the rest of the year haha

I never thought I would miss going to the movies so much, or just meeting ppl for dinner.
